Saints Dt Clancy Out For Season With Knee Injury

Defensive Tackle Kendrick Clancy of The New Orleans Saints was placed on reserve due to a season ending injury. It was made known last Saturday by the team officials and they signed DeMario Pressley a defensive tackle from the practice squad to the active roster. Clancy is 6 feet 1 inch with 305 pounds of power, now on his10-year as a pro in his third season of play with the Saints. He was only able to play in two games this season and was inactive for the next five games because of the injury.
He played college ball in Mississippi. Pressley is a second-year lineman out of North Carolina State, was selected by the Saints in the fifth round of the 2008 draft. The 6 feet 3 inches with 301 pounds spent his rookie season on injured reserve. He was rehabilitating a foot injury which he suffered early during the training camp. He was a North Carolina State college football player.
