21 FBHow Many Football Championships Has Michigan Won.  The Michigan is made up of 24 varsity sports teams from the University of Michigan.  The teams battle it out in the NCAA Division I and in the Big Ten Conference in all the available sports except in ice hockey for men. In fourteen years of the NACDA Director’s Cup, Michigan finished in the top five ten times.  In a compiled list made by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics that charts institutions on success in college sports. In sixteen seasons of the Directors’ Cup standings, UM has finished in the top ten awards in fourteen out of sixteen seasons. 

The University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota are the only two schools in the history of the NCAA to win at least one national championship in all four sports namely basketball, baseball, ice hockey and football.  How Many Football Championships Has Michigan Won?
