51 FBFootball was invented by a man with the name of Walter Camp around 1876.  The idea came from William Ebb Ellis who was playing soccer and picked up the ball then started to run with it, therefore the rules are broken and gave Camp dome ideas for the game.  Another story is that football was invented in 1880 by Bethany Muller.  Some declares that football came thru human history as an ordinary foot ball kicking game. This focuses on every nation that has its own form of football and contributed even in some way, to the invention of the game.

Since there was no notice given to entrepreneurs who marketed their code of football and because of this, it was popularized, it could be soccer, rugby or American football.  An earlier origin started mid 1800s, a game very much like soccer become popular in the eastern part of the United States. NFL Football History

November 28, 2009 by Sherry Ingram · Leave a Comment

39 FBThrough out the NFL Football History it has used different formats to find the best champion for the league it included interleague match up to get the real world champion. The NFL determined champions through the standings after the season, but switched to a system called playoff in 1933.  The rival American football League and the All American Football Conference have merged with the NFL.  It began using the playoff system since the creation of the leagues.

From 1966-69 prior to the merge of the AFL-NFL, they held a world championship game.  The game was called the AFL-NFL World Championship Game which was later named the Super Bowl. The Green Bay Packers won two of these World Championship Games.  Starting 1970, the modern NFL has become the only United States major professional football league and Super Bowl is the current league championship game.  The Pittsburgh Steelers have won majority with six Super Bowl wins. But again, the franchise comes second to the Packers in the overall NFL league titles, twelve.   This is a glimpse of NFL Football History.
