November 8, 2009 by Sherry Ingram

Andre SmithAndre Smith a first-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals has started practicing this week, but there is still no indication if he will make his NFL appearance this weekend against the Ravens. Smith participated in his sixth practice with the Bengals on Friday after his holdout.  He has joined the session for three straight this week.  He was officially listed as questionable by the Bengals.

Geoff Hobson of suggests that Smith, the sixth overall pick, may be a week or two.  On Thursday, Marvin Lewis the Bengals coach said Smith may be one of the best guys to suit up.  It may be anyone’s guess and it is a secret for the Bengals.  Roy Williams a starting safety with a forearm injury sat out his third straight practice day and is also listed as questionable. DT tank Johnson has a foot injury and was limited in practice.  According to the Bengals’ report, he missed two earlier games this season.
